Education in Mulberry

The Polk County Public School District, is the eighth-largest school district in Florida and one of the largest in the nation, in addition to being the county's largest employer.

Mulberry High, Mulberry Middle School, Purcell Elementary, and Kingsford Elementary have educated generations of Mulberry's families, and are considered historic institutions. Among the career academy schools, Mulberry High School's "Auto Garage" program and the Central Florida Aerospace Academy are run by the Polk County school board's Workforce Education Department. The Central Florida Aerospace Academy at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport offers the curriculum of a traditional high school along with hands-on training in aviation-related occupations.

The Workforce Education Department also oversees the Traviss and Ridge Career Centers, located in Lakeland and Winter Haven. These two schools offer secondary and post-secondary programs in architecture and construction, digital design, business, health science, culinary arts, education, human services, information technology, public safety, manufacturing, auto repair, and avionics.

Higher education options include Polk State College, with two campuses in Lakeland and Winter Haven.
